It is time to blow off the dust and get another Columbus Startup Drinks on the calendar. In case you don’t know… Startup Drinks is where people interested in startups informally gather together be part of Columbus’ startup scene as well as discuss what they are working on, where they need help, and what they can do for each other.
We consider a “startup” to be any smaller organization that wants to grow or be successful at their current size. This includes small businesses, startup companies, solo-preneurs, freelancers, non-profit or community organizations, web-based, brick-n-mortar….you get the idea. Whether you want to meet some great people and resources, bounce a marketing strategy off of someone, find a programmer, or relax with a drink and some cool folks – then cSUDs is for you. ok, maybe it was dozens, not millions. Regardless, it was a great time with alot of great people.
Looking to have cSUDs on the first wednesday of the each month. There was also a suggestion to have a quick round of introductions at the beginning of each meeting. Just a quick intro with who you are and what you are up to.
What do you think? Any other thoughts or input?

Hello. The first Columbus StartUp Drinks is 6/25 at The Surly Girl Salloon starting at 6:00. Get there early for happy hour specials and the first round of appetizers will be provided by Jones Insight. Plus, there will be info regarding Columbus Startup Weekend coming July 18th (columbus.startupweekend.com).

So what is Startup Drinks?
a) A drinking group with a startup problem.
b) A low key, unstructured group drinking (coffee, beer or spirits) event that happens in cities across the world
c) Therapy for startup junkies (you don’t have two days to go to a conference, but you do have two hours and would love to stay involved in the community)
